Scott Withers is a Four-Time National Emmy Award Winner, Atlanta-based broadcast meteorologist and environmental geoscientist. He has field-anchored breaking weather from Boston to Hawaii — tornado outbreaks, hurricane landfalls, blizzards, ice storms, wildfires, and flooding — translating fast-moving science into clear, calm, on-air direction when audiences need it most.
He holds a B.S. in Meteorology and an M.S. in Environmental Geosciences from Mississippi State University, and a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. He is also an FAA-licensed drone pilot and the best-selling author of Ian's Surge.
